From the mind of my seven year old

My mom to my seven year old daughter, "Please tell me you won't ever get a tatoo."
My seven year old's reply, "I promise no tatoo will ever touch this body... unless it's on someone else's body..."

Oh boy.

Woah! Kids are so neat.

Most girls weren't getting tattoos when I went to high school. When they did, it was extremely discreet. But today it's all the rage.

(See how old I am? I still use phrases like "all the rage." And that was before even my time, which spawned phrases like, "Gag me with a spoon!")

Haha! Great post! :) I'm glad she liked the book too! I just loved it! It's nice to take a break with a young reader's book every once in a while, because they're so easy to read! They are pretty much candy compared to textbooks. ;)
