Still here!

I'm so sorry about the lack of posting, everyone. I've written up lots of great posts in my head, but it seems like every time I sit down at the computer, I've got just a few seconds to check in on blogs and I'm typically one handed. I hate typing anything more than a quick comment with one hand. My brain only works at half speed. ;)

I've been spending lots of time getting to know my little man - so fun! I will admit to being concerned that after two girls I just wouldn't bond to a little boy. That seems to have been unfounded. If anything, I'm a little over the top - he's my last one, after all! But I did let him sleep in his bed for an entire two hours last night all by himself. Yay me! I have a tendency to hold my babies a lot... in fact, I'm shopping for a sling today so I can be hands free a little more. I think I want a hotsling - but if anyone has recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

By the way - three kids, and one of them two years old, um, hard. And busy. And I vaguely remember what sleeping was like. But I'm not sure I can recall what well rested feels like. Nor do I have any expectation of that.

But, I am getting ready to send out some more queries for Murder on a Moonlit Sea - gotta do something other than clean and feed children with those free hands once I get the sling! And I've been busily plotting the next book. I picked up Save the Cat on Kimber's recommendation and it's FANTASTIC! I love the help with the structure. Hopefully that means this next book is even tighter.

OK blog buds, signing out. I'll try to get another post up before three weeks has gone by!

Kat - if I had a webcam, you could see me sitting with my head in my hands several times a day. ;) It feels like a natural pose!

Kimber - thanks again for recommending such great books on your blog. :) I have high hopes for the structure of this next WIP

Blaze - I'm sure I'll have lots of fun stories - I just need both hands to type them up! He's already changed so much and has this "little man" look. It's so cute!

OMG Robin!! Congratulations on your new baby boy!

I'm so glad that all is well.

So exciting (and makes me a little melancholy for when my boys were babes).

Hugs to you and yours. :)
